I am a family, lifestyle, and portrait photographer in the Greater Sudbury Area!

Although I currently live in Sudbury, I grew up in the GTA! I moved up here about 3 years ago with my partner and two kids after we put an offer on a house without seeing it. We moved up here after spending a total of 3 days in Sudbury over our whole lives, haha. It has been a crazy ride getting to know this city but I love the landscape and the community.

After becoming a mother I threw myself into the birth world and did multiple trainings as a full spectrum doula, childbirth educator, and birth photographer. While I loved my time as a birth worker, I have decided to focus on photography!

 

I feel like all photographers say that their love of photography started young - so I'll tell you when mine kicked into high gear. There were two key catalysts for me that led to consistently picking up my camera.  After I had my babies, I had moments I felt needed preserving with them - their birthdays, family photos, school milestones .. and I'm so glad I started when I did and honestly wish I had picked up my camera more in those early days. The other catalyst was finding a love for self-boudoir when I was postpartum. It helped me connect with my body, and gave me a sense of self. When I'm 80 I can't wait to look back on every single memory I've preserved for myself and my family, and I hope I can help do the same for yours xox.
